     All appraisals conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice of the Appraisal Foundation and the Code of Ethics of the American Society of Appraisers, as well as all appropriate Federal and state laws and regulations. The appraisal report is a confidential financial document, and Mitchem Arts is committed to safeguarding client confidentiality.

 

     The American Society of Appraisers has a mandatory recertification program for all of its Accredited Senior Appraisers, and we are in compliance with this program.

 

 

Fees:

     Fees for a personal property appraisal are dependent on type of assignment, and are most often billed hourly. In conformance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, fees are not based upon a percentage of value nor are fees contingent upon the development or reporting of a predetermined value or the attainment of a stipulated result.
